Outfit Idea's For Work

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, Can't believe tomorrow is Monday already aah!
NOT FUN!
I'm super happy tho because I got Monday off work YAY I shall be spending it filming a makeup tutorial..... Talk about dedication hehe!
Anyways....... Today's post is outfit idea's for work as you figured out from the title. I know I know everyone has different policies etc etc but these are just basic looks, you can play around with these to suit your company and body shape.

Your Aim in any job is to look well- groomed, feminine and professional.
Your outfit should also reflect what you do.
If your in a job that wears all black that's ok..... Add different textures eg lace, print or add a pretty scarf to your neck or hair, accessorize or add a pop of colour on your nails, shoes or makeup.
ahem... but not all at once ha!

So let's get started.....
P.S I haven't uploaded the video yet so you guys get a first look, I will link video when it's live :)

Pencil skirts (Forever21) are a must have in every girls wardrobe. I know you business ladies are prob so sick of them but lets face it, they are super flattering and classy mix it up a little tho add a colourful blouse, pattern or different texture to your top half, I'm loving this blouse from Oasis very spring/summer and the stripes are quite small so they don't make you appear bigger like some stripes can. I finished off the look with a statement chain (Primark), tote black and heels that are not too high... wear wedges, pumps or kitten heels if that's what your comfortable in.

Yes it may be your usual boring black and white look but monochrome is totally on trend at the moment.
So work it girl!!!!
Add a pop of colour to mix it up red is still very professional and classy,
Wear a chiffon blouse with some detailing on the neck, a statement chain will also work if you don't want to add a pop of colour on your feet go for a purple or burgundy blouse LUSH!!
(Blouse and shoes both Primark)

Here I went for a cream blouse but It's got really cool cut outs on the sleeve which A. covers your arms and keeps you warm and B. Is also is very slimming.
I personally hate my arms but I'm working on them :)
I went for a shorter skirt just for a change and wore black 120 tights, I didn't want them to be see through at work and lastly added ankle boots for a edgy look. If you have a black peplum style skirt it would be so flattering with this blouse. I know warehouse had a lovely version.

For the last look I took a boring old black pants and rolled up the ends for a cute feminine look
Yes I did wear a work shirt but I make it awesome by adding a blazer and a tan or leopard print belt :)

Our Trip to London with Benefit Cosmetics

Hey Guys,

Hope your all doing well.
So Sinead (themakeupchair) and I were lucky enough to be invited on a all expenses paid trip to London with Benefit Cosmetics after Sinead won the Bloggers challenge.
I must say we were spoilt rotten!!!!!

After we Landed Mark Rogers (field training manager) and Caoimhe (P.R) were waiting at the airport with Benefit Banners with our names on them. After having a hugeeeeee feast in the Giraffe restaurant they then took us to the Benefit Boutique in Spitalfield where thee Amazing brow expert and perfectionist Mark gave us some #WOWBROWS

After we checked into the gorgeous W hotel and we recovered from the shock we headed out for dinner and drinks.
Sinead and I continued to wander around China town while poor exhausted Caoimhe and Mark headed back to their hotel to pass out before their early flight Monday morning.
We spend  all Monday shopping and trying to find our way around London before heading back to Stansted to catch the last flight home.... :(

BIG BIG BIG Thank you to Benefit Cosmetics and Mark, Caoimhe, Gemma and everyone one else who was involved in this AMAZING trip and thank you to my bestest friend in the whole world for inviting me with her to London for the trip of a lifetime!!!!
Vlog coming soon (hopefully at the weekend) but in the meantime here are some pictures.....

These two are just the sweetest and made our trip even more special thanks for the giggles guys :)

O.O.T.D - Maxi Love

Hey Guys,
Hope everyone is well!
So as you may know if you follow me on facebook Sinead (themakeupchair) and I were lucky enough to be invited to London by Benefit cosmetics.
This is what I wore to the airport!
Blog post coming up next and vlog coming soon :)

                                                                      *What I wearing*

Top: Forever21
belt/boots/ blazer and bag : All Primark
Maxi: Crisis

I love this polka dot top from Forever21 and It matches my maxi skirt perfectly
Remember to all balance your outfits
Because this maxi is quite loose I needed something fitted on my upper body so I choose this fun pokla dot jumper and fitted it with a tan skinny belt to accentuate my waist and tied it in a loop which is also a off the moment/ fashionable piece.
I added a blazer for a structured and feminine look and to finish the outfit perfectly
It maybe not be everyone's taste but I love it!
