Hey Guys,
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, Can't believe tomorrow is Monday already aah!
NOT FUN!
I'm super happy tho because I got Monday off work YAY I shall be spending it filming a makeup tutorial..... Talk about dedication hehe!
Anyways....... Today's post is outfit idea's for work as you figured out from the title. I know I know everyone has different policies etc etc but these are just basic looks, you can play around with these to suit your company and body shape.
Your Aim in any job is to look well- groomed, feminine and professional.
Your outfit should also reflect what you do.
If your in a job that wears all black that's ok..... Add different textures eg lace, print or add a pretty scarf to your neck or hair, accessorize or add a pop of colour on your nails, shoes or makeup.
ahem... but not all at once ha!
So let's get started.....
P.S I haven't uploaded the video yet so you guys get a first look, I will link video when it's live :)
Pencil skirts (Forever21) are a must have in every girls wardrobe. I know you business ladies are prob so sick of them but lets face it, they are super flattering and classy mix it up a little tho add a colourful blouse, pattern or different texture to your top half, I'm loving this blouse from Oasis very spring/summer and the stripes are quite small so they don't make you appear bigger like some stripes can. I finished off the look with a statement chain (Primark), tote black and heels that are not too high... wear wedges, pumps or kitten heels if that's what your comfortable in.
Yes it may be your usual boring black and white look but monochrome is totally on trend at the moment.
So work it girl!!!!
Add a pop of colour to mix it up red is still very professional and classy,
Wear a chiffon blouse with some detailing on the neck, a statement chain will also work if you don't want to add a pop of colour on your feet go for a purple or burgundy blouse LUSH!!
(Blouse and shoes both Primark)
Here I went for a cream blouse but It's got really cool cut outs on the sleeve which A. covers your arms and keeps you warm and B. Is also is very slimming.
I personally hate my arms but I'm working on them :)
I went for a shorter skirt just for a change and wore black 120 tights, I didn't want them to be see through at work and lastly added ankle boots for a edgy look. If you have a black peplum style skirt it would be so flattering with this blouse. I know warehouse had a lovely version.
For the last look I took a boring old black pants and rolled up the ends for a cute feminine look
Yes I did wear a work shirt but I make it awesome by adding a blazer and a tan or leopard print belt :)
Love Always
